Corn Storage Silo Was Being Installed in SHANXI Province

Storage silo  (also called steel silo, corn silo) is the efficient and economical facilities to handle your grains, which offer protection from outside insects and other affects as well as provide handling management conveniently.  Corn silo made with hot-dip galvanized steel sheet by Shelley engineering had been exported to over 40 countries.

Our SHANXI customer ordered one set of steel storage silo for corn storage. Now the storage silo was finished manufacturing and delivered to SHANXI for installation.

Storage silo information

The  corn silo is one set of 700m3 hopper bottom silo for corn storage. The corn silo diameter is 4.5m, steel silo total height is 11.13m, the steel silo volume is 129m3, and the steel silo bottom angel is 45 degree.

The corn silo roof and corn silo body sheets are made of galvanized corrugated steel sheets with 275g/m2 galvanizing. The storage silo bottom and silo legs are made of carbon steel with hot-dip galvanizing, which is 400g/m2 hot dip galvanizing steel.

 In the grain silo system, bucket elevator for grain vertical transportation, drag conveyor under the silos bottom for millet discharging. Also there are ventilation system, temperature monitoring system and level indicator for the millet storage insulation silo.

 Shelley Engineering  sent 5 experienced workers to the corn silo site for installation, now the corn storage silo installation will be finished soon.
